Assembly Instructions:
1. Cut a smooth, square end on the tubing.
2. Slide the Nut, then the Sleeve onto the tube, ensuring the thread faces the end.
3. Insert the tube into the fitting.
4. Thread the Nut onto the fitting until snug, then follow these guidelines: Up to 1/4 inch = 1-1/4 turns, 5/16 inch = 1-3/4 turns, 3/8 inch and up = 2-1/4 turns.
This reducing union is sold individually and is hang tagged for easy identification. Manufactured to include no more than 0.25% weighted average lead content on wetted surfaces, it is a reliable choice for your plumbing needs.
